There is very thin line between hoping for best and living in fantasy, planning for worst and thinking negatively. This applies to every situation, every decision we make and the way we live our life.
Life is not always as what we expect and it continues to surprise us every time we take a decision to change it. So the best way is not to try controlling it and just live with the flow. We all expect only the good out of our life, but the very existence of good relies on bad. Over the period of time, it is so difficult to differentiate between good and bad that you end up doing your routine without thinking much.
Well, that’s one way to live. There’s another approach - we can hope for the best and plan for the worst. I am sure every one of us always hopes for the best; however, only a few actually plan for the worst. Every decision we take are based on the best we might achieve, which is a good thing. One should be positive. However, we miss on important worst that might happen to us and more, can change our life.
There are few things in life which cannot be undone once it happens, but we should be prepared for it and should be able to handle that well by giving our 100%. The art of planning for the worst can only be achieved by perfect practice. Again, there is a very thin line between planning for the worst and thinking negatively. And that line should be distinct so that we don’t end up as a negative thinker at the end of the day.

WOW.. almost struck cord with what I was "thinking" this morning :)
"The art of planning for the worst can only be achieved by perfect practice."
I would rather say that the art of planning for the worst can only be achieved when you let go off the stress of perfecting every small activity you engage in. Isn't it beautiful to observe the imperfect rather than running in the race to gain perfection?
Simple, straight forward, honest and indeed worth spending time to read through each of the sentences carefully. Thank you for the brilliant post! :)
Thanks Khushbu for you feedback. I really appreciate it. I am highly motivated to write more.
